Who You Are
You are an experienced engineer with 8-10 years of expertise in full-stack development, ready to step into a key leadership role. You are passionate about driving major architectural changes, mentoring teams, and taking ownership of mission-critical systems. You have a proven track record in building high-volume platforms and delivering end-to-end solutions, from concept to deployment.
What You Will Do
- Hands-On Development: Contribute 80% of your time to the codebase, building high-volume platforms using cutting-edge technologies.
- Full Ownership: Take responsibility for mission-critical systems and manage projects end-to-end, starting with data discovery, design, implementation, and deployment.
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a small team of engineers, with the potential to grow the team based on project needs.
- Prototyping & Product Development: Collaborate with product and design teams to develop customer-centric prototypes and shape product direction.
- Cross-Functional Engagement: Work across front-end and back-end areas as required, proactively communicating progress and learnings to your team and senior leadership.
What You Bring
- Experience & Education: 8-10 years of engineering experience, preferably with a degree in Computer Science.
- Technical Skills: Strong experience in full-stack development (React, Node) and proficiency in Python. Experience with deep learning frameworks like PyTorch and TensorFlow, Large Language Models, Generative AI, Langchain, or Transformer models is preferred.
- Cloud Expertise: Experience working with cloud services (AWS/Azure/Google Cloud).
- Product Design: Background in designing products from scratch in collaboration with product and design teams.
- Adaptability: Willingness to experiment with new technologies and pick them up quickly.
- Startup Mindset: Experience working in a start-up or start-up-like environment.
