The role of Staff Software Engineer (LLMs) will contribute to the development of industry-leading AI software using cutting-edge research breakthroughs. As a software engineer, you will design, implement, launch, and maintain code in an innovative and fast-paced environment, which involves both platform-related and product development responsibilities. Your primary focus will be on building and maintaining infrastructure for advanced AI systems, including large language models (LLMs), retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), data pipelines, and databases.

Responsibilities:
- Design and implement advanced language model-powered solutions to enhance task efficiency and productivity.
- Enhance API and interface performance, ensuring scalability and user-friendly design.
- Tailor the user experience for accessibility and smooth integration into daily workflows.
- Collaborate with research teams to refine interfaces based on user feedback and real-world usage data.
- Develop and deploy systems for monitoring model performance, behavior, and alignment with user requirements.
- Pioneer innovative human-AI interaction paradigms that transform how we collaborate with artificial intelligence.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 6+ years of experience in software development with one or more programming languages; or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree.
- 4 years of experience with AI, data structures, or algorithms (mandatory).
- Hands-on experience in fine-tuning and deploying generative LLMs using TensorFlow, XLA/MLIR, JAX, and PyTorch frameworks (mandatory).
- Experience developing RAG models integrated with vector databases to power conversational AI products (mandatory).
- Familiarity with autoregressive sequence models (mandatory).
- Excellent in-depth understanding of NLP, LLM, MLLM, Generative AI, and RAG workflows (mandatory).
