Responsibilities:
- Receives jobs, work instructions, drawings, and specifications as required from Supervisor and perform work.
- Lead a team of Technicians.
- Utilize the right tools and equipment for the job, operating heavy-duty specialized tools obtained from the Central tool room.
- Operate basic machine tools such as grinders, power saws, drill presses, threading machines, etc.
- Perform all installation and maintenance works according to company procedures and guidelines.
- Conduct necessary testing (Hydro, Pneumatic, etc.).
- Obtain necessary work permits before starting work.
- Maintain strict compliance with company safety standards.
- Consult with Supervisor on any technical issues.
- Ensure good housekeeping during and after job completion.
- Achieve completion of jobs according to quality and schedule, in line with company standards and requirements.
- Attend Toolbox talks before commencing work.
- Comply with all Safety, Health, and Environment standards and procedures.
- Wear appropriate PPE in addition to mandatory PPE.
- Report all near misses, unsafe conditions, and acts.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 10 years of experience in Oil & Gas maintenance with a High School diploma.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in Oil & Gas maintenance with a Diploma.
- Assist in analyzing the recurrence of mechanical failures and recommend corrective actions.
- Well-organized and proactive with excellent communication skills.
