Storage and Backup Administrator

Lead a team of Storage and backup administrators, providing guidance and mentorship. Collaborate with individuals inside your team and with other global IT teams to complete project work. Manage and maintain the organization's data storage systems, ensuring data availability, integrity, and security through various tasks like configuring, monitoring, and troubleshooting storage hardware and software.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Typically, 6+ years of relevant work experience in industry, with a minimum of 2+ years in a similar role
• Proven experience in infrastructure technology management
• Strong understanding of storage technologies (SAN, NAS, cloud storage), operating systems, networking concepts, and backup solutions
• Proficiencies in technical knowledge and teamwork

Other Qualifications

• An advanced degree in a relevant field is a plus
• Strong working knowledge of Dell PowerMax, ScaleIO, Isilon, Dell Data Protection, Data Domain (including CRS)
• Relevant storage and backup or infrastructure certifications are a strong advantage
• Relevant certifications, such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals, or Certified Cloud Practitioner, are a plus
