Position

We are hiring for a Presales Manager for Data Services and Storage, leading a team of Technical Architects aligned to our Middle East and Africa business. We’re looking for a leader who can enable the team members to succeed and develop while also acting as a business partner for the aligned sales manager(s). Collaboration is essential, and the successful candidate must be able to operate across a broader presales ecosystem and engage with technical and global stakeholders. The Data Services & Storage portfolio continues to evolve, with key offerings for block storage, unstructured data for file and object workloads, and data protection.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing the Business: Oversee a group of presales resources to provide account support. Collaborate with peers to address regional presales coverage gaps and leverage technical expertise to win opportunities.

  • Partnering with Sales & Account Planning: Assist in planning sales strategy and prioritize resource allocation with sales managers to ensure timely utilization of presales support.

  • People Management: Assess and manage employee performance to ensure group excellence, coach team members through challenges, and nurture talent to maintain a high-performing presales force.

  • Selling as a Presales Manager: Focus on strategic direction and assist sales teams in customizing solutions based on client needs. Utilize consultative selling techniques and create business cases that align with customer's goals and metrics.

Education and Experience Required:

  • University or Bachelor's degree.
  • Typically 7+ years of experience in sales, with direct management experience and a track record of achieving sales goals.
  • Demonstrated project management skills.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Business management, resource allocation, and process management.
  • Consultative selling, negotiation, and strong presentation skills.
  • Ability to develop solid customer relationships and engage in strategic account support.
