Position

We are hiring for the next Storage Presales Architect to join our growing Data Solutions team for the Middle East & Africa. This role will be based in Dubai and align to our customers across the United Arab Emirates, spanning the key verticals of Enterprise & Commercial. Our candidate should be fully proficient in storage technologies, including structured data, unstructured data, and data protection solutions, selling outcomes to customers while remaining knowledgeable about the technologies. A passion for technology and a proactive persona will be key. They should be a strong communicator and presenter, with a willingness to partner both internally and externally to reach the right solution for the customer.

Location: Dubai, Dubai, United Arab Emirates
Work Conditions: This role has been designed as ‘Hybrid’ with an expectation that you will work on average 2 days per week from an office.

Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrates in-depth knowledge in one or more solution domains, company products, services, and solutions as well as the customer’s technical and business environment.
  • Develops compelling customer proposals and critically reviews them, managing the expectations of internal stakeholders and customers, ensuring that customer’s business and technical requirements are met.
  • Provides input to all global business units to address IT trends, requirements, gaps, or unmet needs.
  • Communicates how the solution value propositions address customer business needs.
  • Tracks leading-edge and emerging technologies.
  • Conducts deep-dive discussions and partners with the account team to build customer relationships at all levels by advocating and presenting technical strategies for a customer's transformation.

Requirements:

  • First-level university technical degree or equivalent technical qualifications. Advanced degree in technology preferred.
  • 8–12 years of technical experience in IT with a focus on technical consulting and solution selling.
  • Knowledge-based as well as 1+ experienced-based relevant industry certifications very strongly preferred.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Advanced experience participating in and leading solution configurations and the creation of demos and proofs-of-concept (POC) to meet customer requirements.
  • Advanced understanding of the company's portfolio of products, software, services, solution domain specialization, adjacent solution domains, and how they can be combined to address customer needs.
  • Advanced written and verbal communication skills, including active listening and storytelling.
