The Store Technology Associate is responsible for providing remote and in-field technology support for stores across the region, focusing on store infrastructure, network connectivity, switches, access points, POS hardware, payment terminals, back-office equipment, and store-specific applications. The role encompasses supporting store openings, renovations, hardware refreshes, incident resolution, preventive maintenance, asset tracking, vendor coordination, and business continuity activities. The Associate will collaborate closely with local IT teams, external vendors, EME teams, and retail stakeholders across UAE, Oman, Qatar, Kuwait, and Bahrain to ensure stable, secure, and high-performing store technology operations.

Store Technology Associate - Relational
- Maintain strong interpersonal relationships and a service-oriented approach.
- Manage relationships with external vendors:
- Responsible for hardware expense management in accordance with the indirect purchasing policy and process.
- Lead negotiations with vendors.
- Oversee hardware stock management, business continuity, and shortage management processes.
- Manage relationships with EME and LVMH teams regarding EUX topics.
Store Technology Associate - Organizational
- Adhere to all relevant IT policies, processes, and standard operating procedures to ensure a controlled and consistent work process in line with LVMH group and the company global rules and policies.
- Set up dashboards, metrics, and measure the quality of service (QoS) of external partners.
- Monitor Service Level Agreements (SLA) and Service Level Objectives (SLO), applying penalties when necessary.
Store Technology Associate - Operational
- Possess solid knowledge of store infrastructure, LAN/WAN connectivity, switching, wireless networks, access points, structured cabling, network troubleshooting, O365, Microsoft endpoint environments, basic security controls, and ITIL practices.
- Implement activities under close supervision, escalating complex problems to the relevant personnel to ensure issues are resolved efficiently and promptly.
- Provide remote and in-field support for stores, including back-office users and POS areas, focusing on:
- Analyzing, installing, and configuring new computer systems, including cables, printers, access rights, mail configurations, operating systems, and software.
- Managing escalated incidents from the IT Service Desk, using Ivanti/WSO, and upgrading existing workstations.
- Instructing and assisting users with computer equipment, software, and manuals.
- Understanding internal and external customer technologies and effective problem resolution techniques.
- Listening to symptom descriptions, analyzing problems, responding effectively, and providing constructive feedback to users.
- Offering first-level support for all applications.
- Retail Stores Support:
- Setup, support, and maintain all retail store technology, including POS terminals, payment devices, receipt printers, cash drawers, barcode scanners, handheld devices, back-office PCs, and network infrastructure (switches, routers, firewalls).
- Collaborate with Technical Services, Network, Security, application, and vendor teams to troubleshoot connectivity issues, availability of POS systems, and business-critical outages.
- Support store opening, closure, relocation, and renovation activities by preparing infrastructure requirements and validating network readiness.
- Perform on-site validations of store technology environments, ensuring compliance with technology standards.
- IT Asset Administration and Maintenance:
- Maintain computer equipment and peripherals, and ensure proper data backups.
- Monitor daily performance to verify correct operations and identify errors.
- Configure, install, and test hardware and software.
- Recommend improvements or upgrades and evaluate software and hardware issues.
- Implement policies set by Group IT to protect data, software, and hardware.
- Participate in relevant projects and community activities when required.
Qualifications

- A strong understanding of retail store operations, POS environments, store networks, infrastructure dependencies, and the impact of technology availability on client experience and business continuity.

- Strong knowledge of procurement and purchasing processes in the ME region, with an emphasis on logistics (export and import processes is a key advantage).
- At least 7 years of relevant experience, including a minimum of 3 years in a retail company.
- Fluency in English is mandatory; proficiency in Arabic and French is a plus.
