About the Job
In this role, you will be responsible for scoping and delivering complex strategic initiatives from planning through execution. You will work backward from customer success outcomes, collaborating with field teams to understand and prioritize customers’ needs and success enablers. You will apply data-driven approaches to validate this understanding, deep problem-solving skills to evaluate the opportunities, and simplify complexity to develop rapidly scalable programs and mechanisms. You will work closely with our Professional Services, Business Development, Partner, Sales, Solution Architecture, Operations, Finance, Marketing, Legal, and the Program team to build the capabilities to accelerate customers’ migrations to AWS. You must be comfortable working with cross-functional teams in a dynamic organization, as the program will have inter-dependencies with other teams within AWS.

The right candidate will bring strong outbound operations experience defining, planning, and delivering enterprise-level transformation programs, along with a proven track record of delivering insights and creating new mechanisms to efficiently track and enhance business performance. Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in business or related field
- 6+ years of experience in corporate or public sector program management and/or consulting
- 6+ years experience managing and analyzing program data
- 5+ years leading program development from idea to execution
- A demonstrated ability to rely heavily on influence over authority to drive deliverables
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s Degree (MBA/MS)
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent
- Demonstrated ability to thrive in a high-energy environment where strategic and tactical activities are expected to be driven in parallel
- Demonstrated experience executing programs involving cross-functional teams
- Experience communicating results and recommendations to leadership teams
- Ability to self-direct and prioritize effectively to manage multiple simultaneous, constantly evolving programs
