About the Role
We are seeking a Structural Designer with a minimum of 3 years of experience in structural steel detailing and 3D modelling within the Oil & Gas industry. Candidates with offshore project experience will be highly preferred. The successful applicant must demonstrate advanced proficiency in Tekla Structures and possess the ability to independently develop accurate structural models, fabrication drawings, and material take-offs in accordance with project specifications.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop accurate structural models and fabrication drawings for projects.
- Prepare General Arrangement Drawings (GAD), fabrication drawings, assembly drawings, and erection drawings.
- Model various structural components, including pipe racks, equipment platforms, access platforms, stairways, ladders, handrails, gratings, and offshore steel structures.
- Generate Bills of Materials (BOM), Material Take-Offs (MTO), and cutting lists.
- Interpret structural calculation reports and engineering design drawings.
- Conduct clash detection and multidisciplinary coordination with piping and mechanical teams.
- Ensure drawing accuracy and fabrication feasibility through strong attention to detail.
Key Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in structural steel modelling and detailing for Oil & Gas projects.
- Advanced proficiency in Tekla Structures, including 3D modelling, connection detailing, and drawing generation.
- Strong understanding of steel connections, bolted and welded joints, base plates, stiffeners, and structural detailing requirements.
- Familiarity with ADNOC specifications, AISC standards, ASTM materials, and applicable fabrication requirements.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD and experience in clash detection and multidisciplinary coordination.
- Ability to maintain high standards of drawing accuracy and fabrication feasibility.
