About the Role
We are seeking a Structural Designer with a minimum of 3 years of experience in structural steel detailing and 3D modeling within the Oil & Gas industry. Candidates with offshore project experience will be highly preferred. The successful applicant will demonstrate advanced proficiency in Tekla Structures, and will be responsible for independently developing accurate structural models, fabrication drawings, and material take-offs in accordance with project specifications.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop accurate structural models and fabrication drawings in Tekla Structures.
- Prepare General Arrangement Drawings (GAD), assembly drawings, and erection drawings.
- Generate Bills of Materials (BOM), Material Take-Offs (MTO), and cutting lists.
- Model various structures including pipe racks, equipment platforms, access platforms, stairways, ladders, handrails, gratings, and offshore steel structures.
- Interpret structural calculation reports and engineering design drawings.
- Conduct clash detection and multidisciplinary coordination with piping and mechanical teams.
- Ensure drawing accuracy and fabrication feasibility.
- Familiarize with ADNOC specifications, AISC standards, ASTM materials, and applicable fabrication requirements.
Key Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in structural steel modeling and detailing for Oil & Gas projects.
- Advanced proficiency in Tekla Structures, including 3D modeling, connection detailing, and drawing generation.
- Strong understanding of steel connections, bolted and welded joints, base plates, stiffeners, and structural detailing requirements.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD is essential.
- Strong attention to detail, with a focus on drawing accuracy and fabrication feasibility.
