Responsibilities
Core Responsibilities:
- Accountable for the timely and efficient execution of daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance plans and schedules.
- Ensure that the equipment maintenance is performed in compliance with manufacturer’s recommendations, QA manuals, company health and safety policies, procedures, and applicable standards.
- Implement and preserve the integrity of best maintenance practices on equipment through preventative maintenance programs.
- Prepare detailed work plans that include personnel, plant, equipment, and parts available.
- Follow up and monitor all project managers and CM work orders, ensuring they are performed in a timely manner.
- Work closely with other departments and contractors to ensure on-time scheduling of services, new equipment receipt, inspection, installation, commissioning, and handover.
- Manage off-site repairs of equipment.
- Ensure that equipment is in proper condition before granting approval to start operations.
- Control all documentation emanating from or sent to the unit.
Qualifications
Educational and Technical Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
Language Skills:
- Excellent proficiency in English. Arabic is an added advantage.
Years of Experience:
- A minimum of 4-6 years of experience in a similar role.
Nature of Experience:
- Experience in a similar capacity in Maintenance and Reliability in a Manufacturing / Industrial environment.
- Familiarity with enterprise resource planning systems, Microsoft business applications, and AutoCAD would be an advantage.
- Proven track record of solving complex problems, designing creative strategies, and delivering significant impact.
- Passion for and the ability to thrive in a highly collaborative environment, working closely with partners at all levels across various functions of the organization.
- Exceptional leadership skills with a track record of developing high-performance teams.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
