About the Role
In this position, you will troubleshoot and resolve technical problems or issues related to computer software and systems. You will provide technical guidance and recommendations to address business challenges, analyze, recommend, and implement process improvements, and enter commands to integrate and operate computer and peripheral equipment. You will be responsible for troubleshooting, modifying, supporting, managing, and maintaining application programs and user accounts, in addition to maintaining records of daily data communication transactions, problems, remedial actions taken, or installation activities. You will also train or instruct users in the proper use of hardware and software, and manage and coordinate planning, design, operations, maintenance, and resource allocation of telecommunications activities, including client/server support and strategic and tactical planning. Furthermore, you will consult with and advise others on administrative policies and procedures, technical problems, priorities, and methods related to telecommunications.

Responsibilities

  • Assist management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, disciplining, and motivating employees, serving as a role model and first point of contact for the Guarantee of Fair Treatment/Open Door Policy process.
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others, supporting team goals, and listening to and responding appropriately to employee concerns.
  • Follow all company policies and procedures while protecting company assets.
  • Communicate professionally and clearly with others.
  • Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards; recommend and implement new methods to increase organizational efficiency, productivity, quality, safety, and/or cost-savings.
  • Visually verify information and manage entries using computers/Point of Sale (POS) systems.
  • Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance.
  • Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Education: Technical, Trade, or Vocational School Degree.
  • Related Work Experience: At least 2 years of related work experience.
  • Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience.
  • License or Certification: None.
