Key Responsibilities
- Strategy Development: Develop and execute a comprehensive automation strategy aligned with the company's overall supply chain goals, focusing on the company and SCOT-based solutions. This includes identifying key areas for automation, prioritizing projects, and defining measurable success metrics.
- Project Leadership: Lead the full lifecycle of SCOT and the company-powered automation projects, from ideation and requirements gathering to implementation and post-launch support. Manage project timelines, budgets, resources, and risks.
- AWS Technology Evaluation: Research and evaluate relevant technologies, including AI/ML services like the company SageMaker, the company Comprehend, the company Rekognition, and other solutions like the company Lambda, the company S3, and the company EC2. Identify and recommend the best services to meet our specific needs.
- Solution Design: Collaborate with engineering, operations, and other stakeholders to design and develop innovative automation solutions, including defining functional requirements and overseeing the integration of new systems within the ecosystem.
- Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organization. Communicate project updates effectively and ensure alignment on goals and objectives.
- Team Leadership: Mentor and develop automation capability in senior supply chain leaders and specialists. Provide guidance, support, and opportunities for growth in the company and SCOT technologies.
- Continuous Improvement: Monitor the performance of implemented automation solutions and identify opportunities for continuous improvement, leveraging analytics tools for optimization.
- Vendor Management: Manage relationships with external vendors and suppliers of automation equipment and services, particularly those specializing in integrations. Negotiate contracts and ensure timely delivery of high-quality products.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in supply chain operations, with a focus on automation.
- Proven track record of leading and implementing complex automation projects.
- Strong understanding of supply chain processes, including planning, warehousing, transportation, and fulfillment.
- Experience with cloud computing platform and its core services (e.g., EC2, S3, Lambda).
- Excellent project management skills, including the ability to manage timelines, budgets, and resources.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- Deep understanding of the company's supply chain operations.
- Experience with lean principles and methodologies.
- Experience with data analytics and visualization tools, particularly within the ecosystem (e.g., the company QuickSight).
- Experience with AI/ML services (e.g., the company SageMaker, the company Comprehend, the company Rekognition).
- Certifications (e.g., Certified Solutions Architect, Certified Machine Learning - Specialty).
Key Job Responsibilities

- Deliver an annual roadmap for complex projects that solve important Supply Chain challenges.
- Build Supply Chain AI/Automation capabilities to increase the core team's support and scale program deliverables.
