As a Supply Chain Management Solution Advisor, you will be a pivotal resource within the sales team, providing your extensive knowledge of specific solutions to guide the sales process from identifying opportunities to supporting customers post-sale. Your expertise will assist clients in enhancing their existing framework to drive maximum organizational value.
Responsibilities
- Provide specialized expertise and possess advanced/expert-level knowledge of supply chain operations and business processes to support sales initiatives and encourage adoption among key customers.
- Understand the customer’s supply chain complexity and effectively showcase the value of solutions, ensuring alignment with customer needs.
- Interact with prospective customers through executive meetings, discovery conversations, solution demonstrations, executive presentations, and follow-up discussions.
- Work to gain customer acceptance during active sales cycles by demonstrating that the solution effectively addresses customer challenges and stands out against competitive offerings.
- Deliver both standard and tailored solution demonstrations, illustrating the value of solutions to customers.
- Collaborate with the Account Team to deliver solution presentations and events, driving the discovery and qualification of new opportunities, and promoting solution adoption.
- Assess account qualification criteria to guide the level of investment in pursuing new opportunities.
- Establish yourself as a thought leader within the team, refining account strategies.
- Conduct thorough preparation for strategic deals and customer engagements.
- Seamlessly transition engagements to implementation partners or services teams, leveraging knowledge of supply chain business processes and cloud implementation best practices for optimal deployment.
- Engage with customers to continually promote the vision of solutions and ensure a strong desire for contract renewals.
- Utilize digital tools throughout the customer engagement, incorporating demos, presentations, and other content.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in large software or IT organizations in Supply Chain implementation or a relevant business supply chain role.
- Experience in one or more of the following functional areas: logistics, manufacturing, asset management, or project management.
- Familiarity with Cloud, Hosted Services, and SaaS/PaaS models in a B2B environment.
- Recognized as an expert in solutions or lines of business across, with a proven record of success.
- Skilled in creating compelling narratives and themes for client interactions.
- Adept at quickly grasping customer business objectives and recommending appropriate solutions.
- Demonstrates passion and enthusiasm in all customer engagements.
Work Conditions
- One year Fixed term contract, with potential of being renewed.
