Position

About the Role
The position involves processing survey data for tenders or projects into grid models and other usable survey formats. The successful candidate will produce timely and accurate survey data drawings, cross-sections, and both actual and theoretical volume calculations that meet the specified requirements. Additionally, you will be responsible for creating supporting documents for preliminary, weekly, interim, and final dredging and reclamation activities based on survey results. Preparing work designs based on provided design information or construction drawings will be essential, and keeping updates of changes during the project execution is expected. Familiarity with all aspects and techniques of surveying, both office and project-based, is important. You may also be involved in the installation and troubleshooting of survey equipment, hardware, and software. Reporting to the Head of Survey on critical project issues as needed and adhering to defined policies and procedures are essential facets of this role. The work area will be at the company Base and associated company projects, following QA/HSE requirements and procedures throughout your duties.

Responsibilities

  • Process survey data for tenders or projects into grid models and other usable formats
  • Produce accurate survey data drawings, cross-sections, and volume calculations
  • Create preliminary, weekly, interim, and final dredging/reclamation documents based on survey results
  • Prepare work designs from design information or construction drawings, updating changes during projects
  • Familiarize with various survey aspects and techniques
  • Install and troubleshoot survey equipment, hardware, and software as needed
  • Report and escalate project critical issues to the Head of Survey
  • Work according to policies and procedures for effective survey division functioning
  • Comply with QA/HSE requirements and procedures
  • Work on-site at company Base and company projects

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Hydrography, Marine or Land Survey, Geodetic Engineering, or equivalent
  • Additional certifications and affiliations in Survey are beneficial
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marine Engineering, Geomatics, Civil Engineering, or relevant field preferred
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in Marine/Infrastructure works in related industries

Required Skills
