Key Responsibilities
- Influence internal and external stakeholders and leadership to buy into your strategic direction.
- Build a buying and sourcing strategy for a new category while ensuring flawless execution and continuously analyzing key metrics to drive improvements for your business.
- Build relationships with vendors, add selection, manage category profitability, optimize pricing, and develop your team.
- Support the Category leader to drive new strategic initiatives and business opportunities for the organization.
- Negotiate strategic partnerships and close end-to-end vendor relationships and terms of trade.
- Own the P&L for hitting top and bottom-line targets and drive projects to improve profitability.
- Define selection assortment and continuously refine the mix at the dark store level to reduce shrinkages and improve customer experience.
Requirements
- Strong project delivery and commercial negotiation skills.
- Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced, highly demanding, and ambiguous environment.
- Deep analytical acumen and business judgment.
- Experience working with multiple stakeholders (marketing, marketplace, legal, supply chain, operations).
- Passion for creating a world-class shopping experience for customers.
