We are seeking a skilled Symantec DLP Engineer to design, implement, and manage enterprise Data Loss Prevention (DLP) solutions. Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and maintain Symantec DLP policies to protect sensitive data.
  • Configure and manage DLP solutions across email, endpoints, cloud storage, and network channels.
  • Classify and monitor sensitive data to prevent unauthorized access or data leakage.
  • Reduce false positives by tuning policies and optimizing detection accuracy.
  • Integrate DLP with Microsoft 365, SharePoint, OneDrive, and other enterprise platforms.
  • Monitor DLP incidents, investigate policy violations, and provide remediation recommendations.
  • Collaborate with security, compliance, and IT teams to ensure data protection best practices.
  • Support compliance initiatives for regulations such as GDPR, HIPAA, PCI DSS, and Saudi PDPL.
  • Maintain documentation, generate reports, and provide operational support for DLP environments.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
  • 4–8 years of experience in Data Loss Prevention (DLP) technologies.
  • Hands-on experience with Symantec DLP administration, policy creation, and incident management.
  • Strong understanding of data classification, information protection, and security governance.
  • Experience with Microsoft 365, Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive, and endpoint security solutions.
  • Knowledge of compliance frameworks including GDPR, HIPAA, PCI DSS, and Saudi PDPL.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
