Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate with application, network, and external vendor teams to resolve infrastructure issues and ensure service continuity.
- Perform root cause analysis (RCA), disaster recovery testing, system hardening, and recovery operations.
- Provide L2/L3 technical support and manage incident, change, and problem tickets through ITSM tools.
- Monitor server and application performance, availability, backup jobs, and system alerts; troubleshoot and resolve incidents.
- Configure and maintain Veeam Backup & Replication for virtual machines, physical servers, and SQL databases.
- Manage Hyper-V environments, virtual machines, clusters, replication, live migration, and failover operations.
- Install, configure, and maintain Windows Server 2016, 2019, and 2022, including Active Directory, DNS, Group Policies, and security patching.
- Administer on-premises physical servers, storage systems, firmware upgrades, and hardware maintenance.
- Monitor and maintain database performance, security, backups, recovery, replication, and failover configurations.
- Manage Azure infrastructure, including virtual machines, storage accounts, backups, snapshots, and resource optimization.
Desired Skills and Experience
- Managing Azure Infrastructure
- 2-3 years of experience in a similar role
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field
- Proficient in English
- Experience in the government sector is advantageous
