The Senior Level Systems Administrator will be responsible for systems administration tasks related to the day-to-day technical operations of the Network Control Center (NCC). This role is contingent upon the successful award of a contract to V2X.

Responsibilities:
- Administer, install, operate, and maintain USAFCENT-supported networks, supporting daily technical operations at the NCC.
- Collaborate with USAFCENT NOSC to integrate local networks into the USAFCENT Enterprise Network.
- Provide support for organizational client system technicians with LAN and PC issues.
- Engineer, install, and maintain network equipment to meet new and emerging requirements.
- Offer responsive services such as network configuration control, restoration, quality control, and status reporting.
- Maintain a help desk for all user issues and job tracking.
- Tasks include systems management, monitoring, hardware repair, and compliance with various directives.
Working Environment:
The working environment is in a climate-controlled facility, but outdoor temperatures may exceed 100°F. The position may require support during non-traditional hours, including nights and weekends.
Physical Activities:
Must be able to lift/push/pull 40 lbs unassisted.
Qualifications:
- Education: High School Diploma or GED
- Citizenship: U.S. Citizen
- Security Clearance: Active Secret Tier 3 (or higher)
- Certifications: IAT Level II Certification AND one or more of the following:
- MCSA-Windows Server 2012/2016 or newer
- MCSA-SQL Server 2012/2014
- Microsoft 365 Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate
- Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) - Core Infrastructure or Data Management and Analytics
Experience & Skills:
- 6 years of experience in designing, maintaining, and operating small to medium networks.
- Experience with user account administration, managing mail servers, printer servers, web servers, firewalls, and software applications.
- Experience in analyzing and troubleshooting military networks, including various Microsoft server versions, Active Directory, and network services like DHCP, DNS, and WINS.
