System Analyst

This role is for a highly skilled and motivated Senior Analyst who will serve as a technical expert for the bank's financial crime systems, with a primary focus on the NICE Actimize suite. The main goal is to ensure the stability, performance, and effectiveness of these systems, which include platforms for fraud detection and anti-money laundering (AML).

Key Responsibilities:

• System Administration & Support: Provide L2/L3 technical support for NICE Actimize in a 24/7 environment. This includes monitoring system health, resolving complex technical issues, and performing routine maintenance like patching and upgrades.
• Configuration & Rule Management: Implement and test changes to system rules, parameters, and risk models as directed by the Compliance team. Help optimize fraud and AML scenarios to improve alert quality.
• Data Integration & Analysis: Troubleshoot real-time and batch data feeds from core banking systems and write SQL queries to investigate data issues and support analysis.
• Collaboration & Documentation: Act as a liaison between IT, vendors, and business users. Create and maintain technical documentation and provide training to L1 support staff and end-users.

Qualifications:

• A bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• At least 3 years of hands-on experience with the NICE Actimize platform.
• Strong understanding of AML and fraud typologies, excellent problem-solving skills, and experience with SQL and Unix/Linux commands.
• Highly desirable qualifications include NICE Actimize certifications, experience with other financial crime systems, and knowledge of UAE banking and ITIL principles.
