About the Job: The Deployment Technician will be part of a project in the defense sector focused on renovating the existing radio communication system. This role involves: - Installing and configuring a system that includes both hardware and software components. - Providing technical support to customers and troubleshooting issues with assistance from the company back office. - Monitoring system health during operations and performing routine and corrective maintenance. The position is field-based and requires extensive travel to 20 deployed sites across the country. Candidates must obtain security clearance to work on military bases. Roles & Responsibilities: - Install and configure hardware components including servers, workstations, and networking equipment. - Deploy operating systems, drivers, and application software as necessary. - Conduct verification tasks on the deployed system and troubleshoot deployment issues. - Monitor the performance of the system and resolve software faults. - Perform routine and preventive maintenance and apply patches and upgrades. - Provide technical support to customers and maintain accurate records of system configurations. Work Experience Requirements: - Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in deploying radio communication systems. - Experience in defense projects or critical infrastructure is preferred. - Basic understanding of Linux systems and Docker. - Experience in integrating and testing complex systems is a plus. Qualifications: - Diploma/degree or equivalent experience in Electronics, Software Integration, or related field. - Valid driver’s license. Preferred Skills: - Basic understanding of radio technologies and product development within a project environment. - Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and installation guides. - Excellent communication and documentation skills. - Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to analyze issues logically. - Capable of working independently and collaboratively in a team. Languages: - Fluency in English is required. - Proficiency in French and Arabic is a plus.
