Key Responsibilities:
- System Architecture Design: Lead the development of architectures for autonomous robotic systems, meeting performance goals.
- Solution Design & Integration: Collaborate with hardware, software, and AI teams to create cohesive robotic solutions.
- System Requirements Specification: Define and manage clear, traceable, and verifiable system requirements throughout their lifecycle.
- Model-Based Systems Engineering: Use SysML to model systems and ensure effective integration.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks, ensuring compliance with functional safety standards.
- Prototyping & Validation: Guide the development, testing, and validation of prototypes against performance requirements.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless integration.
- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive technical documentation for stakeholders.
- Mentorship: Lead architectural reviews and mentor junior engineers.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Systems Engineering, Robotics, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience: 5-8+ years in system architecture or systems engineering, with a focus on autonomous vehicle systems or ground robotics.
- Technical Expertise: Understanding of systems engineering principles, including the V-model, SysML, and autonomous vehicle technologies.
- Software & Tools: Proficient in MATLAB, Simulink, ROS, and other architecture modeling tools.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written skills to present complex technical concepts effectively.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent analytical abilities to address design challenges.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with autonomous vehicles, unmanned ground vehicles, or field robotics.
- Familiarity with safety standards (e.g., ISO 26262).
- Knowledge of AI, machine learning, and autonomous system technologies.
- Experience in simulation tools and real-world testing of robotic systems.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
Language Requirements: Proficiency in English is required.
