About the Job
The role reports to the Head of Engineering (Chief Engineer) and is responsible for the system verification and validation of a large security system after its deployment. This includes the acceptance process with the customer. The role is based in Riyadh, but frequent travel to locations in Saudi Arabia is required. Occasional international travel is also expected.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master degree in Electrical Engineering / Information Technology or related field
- 10+ years of experience in the Verification and Validation (V&V) of systems and familiar with applicable INCOSE and international system engineering standards
- Ability to educate other V&V engineers hands-on, in theory and practice, and improve individual V&V skills
- Experience in writing test procedures and test reports
- Experience in the detailed planning of work and deliverables
- Experience with IT-based systems
- Ability to work in a customer-oriented environment and within the cultural environment of Saudi Arabia
- Analytical thinking and strong engineering mindset
- Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
- Strong listening skills to understand customer requirements

Beneficial Qualifications and Experience
- PMP, ISAQB and/or ISTQB certification
- Strong engineering background working on large integration projects
- Experience in working directly with customers
- Experience with a broad range of information technology systems (e.g. Networking, Storage, Server, Virtualization, System/Network administration)
- Detailed experience in relevant Information Technology and communication solutions
- Driving license
Key Responsibilities
- Education and development of other V&V engineers to extend domain knowledge and understanding
- Realization of L2 (system) and L3 (software) requirements into valid test cases/test procedures for system integration
- Execution of test procedures at testing facilities (system integration lab) and delivery sites, along with the evaluation of test results
- Preparation of test documentation (test procedures, problem reports, test reports) during test campaigns
- Perform verification and validation activities at the system level for system/customer releases and dedicated test campaigns like load, stress, and performance tests
- Utilize different tools and methods for all kinds of V&V tasks (e.g. DOORS, Jira, Quality Center, Jenkins, Python, Powershell, Batchfiles, and Javascript)
- Problem reporting and support for root-cause analysis
- Track bugs and conduct retesting of fixed issues, closely interacting with the development team
- Play an active role in terms of verification within development teams and drive the verification and release of software releases or features
- Act self-sustained while collaborating as a team player
