As a Systems Engineer in Riyadh, you will enable sales engagements into large enterprise accounts. You will play a key role in navigating complex accounts to generate and deliver winning proposals, contract bids, statements of work, and RFI/RFP responses. Your contributions will be critical in meeting and exceeding sales quotas by implementing strategic account plans targeting enterprise-wide deployments of the Palo Alto Networks Next-Generation Security Platform.

Your Impact
- Establish yourself as a trusted advisor to prospects and customers, collaborating with your Account Manager and local partners within your territory.
- Identify and document specific problems that can be solved through integrated solutions deployment.
- Architect and propose validated solutions addressing identified cybersecurity challenges in each unique environment.
- Ensure ongoing customer satisfaction, support, and adoption of our solutions.
- Pursue continuous self-improvement and technical leadership of applicable technologies (data center, SDN, public cloud, security, networking, etc.).
- Differentiate effectively against top competitors and advocate for customers requiring technical assistance until issues are resolved.
Your Experience
- 4+ years in a pre-sales Systems Engineer role, systems integration, or equivalent experience.
- BS in Computer Science or equivalent military experience required.
- Familiarity with Palo Alto Networks products, particularly Next-Generation Firewalls.
- Experience with systems installation, configuration, and administration of routers/switches, UNIX/Linux, and Windows-based systems.
- Emphasis on L2-L4 Networks, including L2 switching architectures (e.g., Spanning Tree), IP routing (e.g., OSPF, BGP), and L4 Load balancing.
- Ability to effectively present our security platform to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong analytical skills to resolve complex multivariate problems systematically, often under pressure.
- Mature time-management skills.
- Prior experience selling network infrastructure-based security appliances (e.g., Firewalls, SSL/IPSec VPNs).
- Knowledge of modern network threats, malware, network forensics, automation tools, and endpoint security technologies.
- Significant industry certifications (e.g., SANS, CISSP, CCIE) are a plus.
