Responsibilities:
- Gather information about the capabilities of company products and investigate technical capabilities of company products and competing solutions.
- Generate quantifiable requirements based on customer descriptions, system planning, and design, ensuring compliance through formal verification methods.
- Translate high-level product development strategies into network and system requirement specifications, collaborating with other engineering disciplines for detailed implementation requirements.
- Establish and coordinate the development of standards, practices, and procedures relevant to network and system development.
- Design interfaces and integrate network and system elements for cohesive functionality.
- Assess performance using evaluation criteria and technical performance measures.
- Act as a customer liaison and support for business development to understand and shape requirements.
- Coordinate planning, design, and installation of equipment, leveraging knowledge of engineering and programming.
- Participate in system conceptual design and document design concepts.
- Install new hardware, systems, and software for networks.
- Design, create, and build network services, equipment, and devices.
- Generate system-level requirements verification procedures and customer acceptance test procedures.
- Monitor system performance and implement performance tuning.
- Review test plans/procedures to ensure they meet contractual objectives and participate in the testing process to validate requirements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field.
- 5 - 8 years of relevant experience (or commensurate experience).
- Secret clearance required.
- Five+ years of experience supporting C4I systems such as GCCS, NAVMACS, HF, UHF, and VHF Radios and Antennas, Tactical Data Links (Link-11, 16, 22), CENTRIXS, Network Communications, SATCOM, ADSI, or VBS.
- Three+ years of experience with Commercial Off The Shelf (COTS) equipment (e.g., radars, GPS, AIS, APS, CCTV, VTC).
- Experience working OCONUS in security cooperation efforts or for foreign customers.
- Experience with foreign disclosure reviews or similar activities, including sanitizing technical documentation and interacting with USG and foreign military/government officials.
- Experience performing requirements analysis, including site surveys and System Operation Verification Tests (SOVTs).
Preferred Skills:
- Three+ years of experience with NAVWAR prime mission products.
- Three+ years of experience supporting Systems Engineering and Technical Reviews (SETR).
- Completion of DISAM SCM courses such as SCM-C and DISAM International Affairs Certification Level 1 or above.
- Master’s Degree in an engineering field.
Salary Range:
USD $90,000.00 - USD $130,000.00 /Yr.
