Nutanix is seeking a passionate and driven Advisory Systems Engineer - Channel (SE) for a technical field pre-sales/enablement position that serves as the lead advocate for our Partner Presales Systems Engineers & Solution Architects. This role involves discovering customers’ business challenges and crafting unique solutions, transforming the way companies work through Enterprise Cloud Technology.

As a key member of the Channel SE team, you will be responsible for driving channel technical enablement initiatives, creating content to empower partners to perform functions similar to those of a Nutanix Systems Engineer, including product demonstrations and executing Proofs of Concept (POC). Your role will involve delivering compelling sales and technical training, building trust internally and externally, and identifying initiatives to strengthen our partners’ offerings for continual growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with partners to identify prospective customers and conduct product capability assessments.
  • Work alongside marketing and events teams to create partner-facing documents for go-to-market solutions.
  • Plan and manage effective demand generation campaigns with channel partners.
  • Participate in technical events such as conferences and meet-ups.
  • Build long-term relationships with channel partners and serve as a trusted resource.
  • Size and configure Nutanix solutions according to customer needs.
  • Assist the sales team in drafting proposals and designing solutions for customers.
  • Provide training and resources to empower partners for independent sales.
  • Support partners in deal progression and provide mentorship.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years in a customer-facing technical role.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in Information Technology.
  • Familiarity with channel partners and knowledge of a channel-centric market approach.
  • Strong presentation skills and ability to develop engaging training materials.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • A self-starter with strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Knowledge of data center and cloud technologies, including storage, virtualization, and automation frameworks.

Additional Requirements:

  • Willingness to travel across the region up to 50%.
