Responsibilities
- Provide technical support for desktop systems ensuring all issues are resolved promptly and efficiently.
- Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of desktop hardware and software.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to desktop systems both remotely and on-site as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to develop and implement solutions for desktop support challenges.
- Maintain accurate records of all support requests and resolutions in the ticketing system.
- Ensure all desktop systems are up-to-date with the latest security patches and software updates.
- Assist in the development and implementation of desktop support policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular system audits to identify and address potential issues before they impact users.
- Provide training and support to end-users to help them effectively use desktop systems and software.
- Monitor system performance and make recommendations for improvements as needed.
- Work closely with other IT teams to ensure seamless integration of desktop systems with other technologies.
- Participate in the planning and execution of desktop system upgrades and migrations.
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices in desktop support and systems engineering.
Qualifications
- Possess a strong understanding of desktop support principles and practices.
- Demonstrate proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to desktop systems.
- Have experience with remote desktop support tools and techniques.
- Show excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
- Exhibit strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Be able to work independently and as part of a team.
