Responsibilities:
- Lead all technical aspects of a sales cycle with Enterprise customers, from the initial RFIs, through to RFPs & RFQs when required.
- Actively participate in project management and POCs in partnership with relevant internal teams and customers/commercial partners.
- Understand customer technical requirements and build solutions that outperform competitor offerings.
- Serve as the primary technical point of contact for customers and partners, collaborating closely with sales partners.
- Continuously enhance knowledge of Fortinet products and solutions while understanding the competitive landscape.
- Position Fortinet solutions effectively to customers, whether remotely or in person, requiring strong communication and presentation skills.
- Manage multiple deals simultaneously while ensuring a positive customer experience.
- Maintain accurate activity, contact, and technical information of all customers and prospects in our CRM (Salesforce).
Qualifications:
- High aptitude for security technology, specifically encryption, authentication, and desirable knowledge of network security, intrusion detection, anti-virus, routing, switching, LAN, and WAN.
- Previous experience in a pre-sales engineer role, managing end-to-end technical aspects of deals.
- Proven problem-solving skills with a track record of impact on key wins within the organization.
- Ability to build and maintain customer relationships and communicate technical concepts to a range of stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of RADIUS, PKI, IKE, Certificates, L2TP, IPSEC, FIREWALL, 802.1Q, MD5, SSH, SSL, SHA1, DES, and 3DES.
