Systems Engineer - Giga Projects

We are seeking a Systems Engineer to work closely with a sales representative in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The main responsibility of the Systems Engineer will be to support the sales organization in all technical matters related to pre-sales, sales calls, and post-sales support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead all technical aspects of the sales cycle for Enterprise customers, from initial RFIs to RFPs & RFQs, including project management and active participation in POCs.
• Understand the technical requirements of the customer to build superior solutions compared to competitors.
• Serve as the primary technical point of contact for customers and partners in close collaboration with the sales partner.
• Continuously improve knowledge of Fortinet products and solutions while maintaining an understanding of the competitive landscape.
• Effectively position Fortinet solutions to customers, utilizing strong communication skills for presentations and discussions.
• Manage multiple deals simultaneously while ensuring a positive customer experience.
• Maintain accurate records of customer and prospect technical information in our CRM (Salesforce).

Qualifications:

• High aptitude for security technology, specifically in encryption and authentication, with desirable knowledge in network security, intrusion detection, anti-virus, routing, switching, LAN, and WAN.
• Previous experience in a pre-sales engineer role managing end-to-end technical aspects of deals.
• Proven problem-solving skills that have positively impacted key wins within the organization.
• Ability to build and maintain customer relationships, effectively communicating technical information to various stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of technical concepts including RADIUS, PKI, IKE, Certificates, L2TP, IPSEC, FIREWALL, 802.1Q, MD5, SSH, SSL, SHA1, DES, and 3DES.
