Responsibilities:
- Lead all technical aspects of a sales cycle, leveraging security platforms such as FortiSOAR, FortiSIEM, FortiAnalyzer, and FortiClient with enterprise customers from initial RFIs through to RFPs & RFQs when required.
- Manage project activities and actively participate in POCs in collaboration with relevant teams, both internally and with customers or commercial partners.
- Listen to and understand the technical requirements of customers to build superior solutions.
- Act as the primary technical point of contact for customers and partners in close collaboration with sales partners.
- Enhance knowledge of Fortinet products and solutions while understanding the competitive landscape.
- Successfully present Fortinet solutions to customers, whether remotely or in person, with strong communication skills.
- Maintain accurate records of all customer and prospect interactions in our CRM (Salesforce).
Qualifications:
- High aptitude for security technology, with knowledge in encryption, authentication, network security, intrusion detection, anti-virus, routing, switching, LAN, and WAN.
- Previous experience in a pre-sales engineer role, managing end-to-end technical aspects of deals through to closure.
- Proven problem-solving skills and the ability to impact key wins.
- Strong relationship-building skills with effective communication to both external and internal stakeholders.
- Understanding of RADIUS, PKI, IKE, Certificates, L2TP, IPSEC, FIREWALL, 802.1Q, MD5, SSH, SSL, SHA1, DES, and 3DES.
