Position

We are looking for a Systems Engineer for the company's Secure Access technology portfolio, which includes wireless access points, secure switching, FortiExtender LTE, and Cloud infrastructure as a service. The successful candidate will work closely with a sales representative in a defined territory. The primary mission will be to support the sales organization in all technical matters related to pre-sales, sales calls, and post-sales.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead all technical aspects of a sales cycle with enterprise customers, including managing RFIs, RFPs, and RFQs.
  • Participate in project management and Proof of Concept (POC) activities in collaboration with internal teams and customers/commercial partners.
  • Design and architect Switch and Wireless Networks for customers and partners.
  • Understand customer technical requirements and build superior solutions that outperform competitors.
  • Serve as the primary technical contact for customers and partners, collaborating closely with your sales partner.
  • Maintain and enhance knowledge of the company's products and competitive landscapes to provide effective solutions against evolving threats.
  • Communicate effectively with customers, presenting technical information confidently through various formats.
  • Manage time effectively when working on multiple deals, ensuring a positive customer experience.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer activities, contacts, and technical information in CRM (Salesforce).

Qualifications:

  • High aptitude for security technology, particularly encryption and authentication, with additional knowledge of network security, intrusion detection, routing, switching, LAN, and WAN being desirable. CISSP accreditation is beneficial.
  • Prior experience in a pre-sales engineer role, managing the end-to-end technical aspects of deals.
  • Proven problem-solving skills that have influenced key wins in previous organizations.
  • Ability to build and maintain customer relationships, effectively communicating technical information to diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of RADIUS, PKI, IKE, Certificates, L2TP, IPSEC, FIREWALL, 802.1Q, MD5, SSH, SSL, SHA1, DES, and 3DES.
