Key Responsibilities:
- Lead all technical aspects of a sales cycle with Enterprise customers, from the initial RFIs through to RFPs & RFQs when required.
- Participate in project management and active participation in POCs in collaboration with relevant internal teams and the customer or commercial partner.
- Understand the technical requirements of customers and build solutions that outpace competitor offerings.
- Act as the primary technical point of contact for customers and partners in collaboration with sales representatives.
- Continuously improve knowledge of the company's products, solutions, and the competitive landscape.
- Position the company's solutions confidently to customers, either remotely or in person.
- Manage time effectively to maintain a positive customer experience while working on multiple deals.
- Maintain accurate records in our CRM (Salesforce) for all customer activity, contacts, and account technical information.
Requirements:
- A strong aptitude for security technology, specifically encryption and authentication, with knowledge of network security, intrusion detection, anti-virus, routing, switching, and LAN/WAN being desirable.
- Previous experience in a pre-sales engineer role, managing all technical aspects of deals to closure.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills and a proven impact on key wins within an organization.
- Ability to build and maintain customer relationships and communicate effectively with a range of stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of protocols such as RADIUS, PKI, IKE, Certificates, L2TP, IPSEC, FIREWALL, 802.1Q, MD5, SSH, SSL, SHA1, DES, and 3DES.
