The Systems Engineer will be part of the Sales Engineering team in Riyadh, characterized by a culture of teamwork, knowledge sharing, and mutual support. This role requires delivering innovative technical solutions to clients, ensuring tailored solutions meet specific needs and foster long-term partnerships.
You will report to the SE Team Lead, focusing on achieving outcomes without micromanaging daily tasks.
Work Conditions:
- Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia (Hybrid)
- Employment Type: Full-time
- Work Setup: Hybrid (flexible hours, with the option to work from home or the office)
- Travel Requirement: Estimated travel of 25% within Saudi Arabia, primarily to Jeddah, with potential travel to Bahrain and Qatar.
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical skill support to the sales team to close deals and win customers.
- Conduct presentations, demonstrations, and proof of concepts tailored to customer needs.
- Collaborate with the sales, channel, and marketing teams for effective customer engagement.
- Deliver technical sales solutions, ensuring customer adoption and proper utilization of software.
- Plan and execute customer visits to explore and understand business opportunities.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of core products, industry trends, and competitive landscape.
- Facilitate team collaboration and knowledge sharing.
- Achieve individual performance metrics tied to sales targets and customer engagement objectives.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in data center and cloud solutions.
- 5 years of presales experience in a competitive environment.
- Proficiency in compute and storage virtualization technologies.
- Knowledge of multi-cloud solutions and hyperscaler offerings.
- Familiarity with VMware and automation tools like Ansible and Terraform.
- Excellent presentation and customer interaction skills.
- Understanding of business and sales cycles.
- Experience in the banking industry is a plus.
