As the Systems Integration Manager, you will lead a team of Systems Engineering specialists, overseeing both the design and implementation of various airport terminal systems. Your role will involve ensuring the effective integration of systems such as active data and voice networking, surveillance, passenger processing, baggage handling, and more. You will collaborate closely with different teams including Terminal Delivery, Stakeholder Management, and Start-up/Commissioning throughout all phases of the project.
Major Responsibilities:
- Plan, schedule, and conduct detailed engineering work for Systems Engineering on medium to large-sized projects.
- Provide oversight for processes related to Systems Engineering, including Requirements Management, Technical Risk Management, and Compliance.
- Conduct technical reviews of contractors' systems engineering processes and deliverables.
- Supervise and coordinate the work of Systems Engineering personnel.
- Facilitate the development of systems integration and verification packages to ensure operational readiness.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor's or master's degree (or international equivalent) with 13-15 years of relevant experience, or 17-19 years of relevant work experience.
- Professional accreditation in systems engineering (e.g., CSEP or equivalent).
Required Knowledge and Skills:
- Thorough understanding of systems engineering principles and airport system functions.
- Familiarity with related codes and standards (e.g., IEEE 1220-2005, ISO/IEC 15288).
- Experience with the integration of systems in airport command and control structures.
- Knowledge of innovations in airport systems, including AI applications.
