The company is seeking an exceptionally talented Systems Integration Manager to oversee the integration of all railway systems for a major railway project. This includes infrastructure, stations, and operational interfaces, ensuring seamless coordination and alignment across all systems and disciplines. Your goal will be to deliver a safe, efficient, reliable, and operationally ready railway in line with project objectives and operational requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement the Systems Integration Management Plan and integration strategy for the project.
- Lead the coordination and integration of railway systems including signalling, communications, traction power, SCADA, OCC, rolling stock, platform systems, depot systems, and associated infrastructure.
- Manage system interfaces between rail systems, civil infrastructure, stations, depots, and operational environments.
- Establish and maintain system interface registers, ensuring all interfaces are identified, tracked, coordinated, and resolved.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams to ensure fully integrated and consistent system design outputs across all project stages.
- Ensure effective integration between infrastructure, stations, operational systems, and external interfaces.
- Coordinate with operational stakeholders, authorities, operators, contractors, and specialist system providers.
- Facilitate systems integration workshops and interface resolution sessions.
- Support Systems Engineering activities, including requirements management and verification processes.
- Identify and manage integration risks and implementation strategies.
Required Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field from a recognized university.
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in rail projects and/or rail operations (GCC or international experience preferred).
- Strong understanding of railway systems and experience managing multidisciplinary technical teams.
- Familiarity with Systems Engineering processes and integration assurance activities.
- Excellent communication, coordination, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving capabilities.
Desired Skills:
- Professional certification or membership in a relevant institute is an advantage.
