Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, and hire a team of software engineers.
- Design and deliver engineering solutions using Go, Python, and open source tools.
- Seek improvements to established processes and engineering solutions.
- Collaborate with business customers to understand their data and integration needs.
Requirements:
- Experience as a software developer in Python.
- Excellent understanding of integration patterns.
- Experience as a hands-on engineering manager or team lead.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Ability to work remotely and stay organized in a diverse, fully remote environment.
- Willingness to travel internationally for work approximately 2-4 times per year.
Additional Skills (Preferred):
- Experience as a software developer in Go.
- Background in a business role (sales, finance, or operations).
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science or a related engineering field.
