The Commercial Systems unit, which this role is part of, is responsible for several engineering teams that closely collaborate with business units. The Integrations team focuses on a range of popular SaaS solutions, such as Salesforce, NetSuite, Greenhouse, and GSuite, leveraging technologies like Python, Go, and open-source tools like Airbyte and Temporal. This position is ideal for candidates with software engineering experience who are committed to high engineering standards and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, and recruit a team of software engineers.
- Design and deliver engineering solutions utilizing Go, Python, and open-source tools.
- Collaborate with business customers to understand their data and integration needs.
- Seek improvements to established engineering processes and solutions.
Requirements:
- Experience as a software developer in Python.
- Excellent understanding of integration patterns.
- Experience as a hands-on engineering manager or team lead.
- Proficient verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Ability to collaborate remotely with diverse team members.
- Willingness to travel internationally for approximately 2-4 times per year.
Preferred Skills:
- Software development experience in a high-level language, preferably Go.
- Business experience in areas such as sales, finance, or operations.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science or a related field.
Language Requirements:
Fluent in English (both verbal and written).
