In the role of Systems Integrations Engineering Manager for the Commercial Systems unit, you will have the opportunity to utilize your passion for Linux and Ubuntu to drive business success. This unit is responsible for vital engineering functions and ensures that data flows seamlessly across the organization using popular SaaS solutions like Salesforce, NetSuite, and GSuite, utilizing technologies such as Python and Go.
Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, and hire a team of software engineers.
- Design and deliver engineering solutions that leverage Go, Python, and open source tools like Airbyte and Temporal.
- Continuously seek improvements to processes, designs, and engineering solutions.
- Collaborate with business customers to understand their data and integration needs.
Qualifications:
- Experience as a software developer in Python.
- Excellent understanding of integration patterns.
- Proven experience as a hands-on engineering manager or team lead.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fully remote environment.
- Willingness to travel internationally for approximately 2-4 weeks per year.
Additional Skills:
- Experience in a high-level programming language such as Go.
- Background in business roles such as sales, finance, or operations.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science or a related engineering field.
