In this full-time, on-site role based in the United Arab Emirates, the Systems & IT Manager will lead and oversee all IT operations, infrastructure management, and support during live events, including evenings and weekends. This hands-on leadership position is essential for maintaining high-availability systems in a dynamic late-night entertainment environment and requires close collaboration with Corporate IT to ensure compliance and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and maintain IT systems in alignment with corporate standards.
- Provide hands-on support for networks, servers, POS, and ticketing systems.
- Maintain and troubleshoot Cisco network infrastructure, including switching and routing.
- Administer VMware and Microsoft Hyper-V virtual environments.
- Install, configure, and support Windows servers and user devices.
- Monitor systems to ensure uptime during peak operations.
- Be the on-site technical lead during live events, conducting pre-event checks and real-time troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with venue operations teams to ensure technical readiness.
- Implement security configurations and maintain system documentation.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in IT infrastructure or venue-based IT management.
- Strong knowledge of Cisco networking and hands-on experience with VMware/Microsoft Hyper-V.
- Experience supporting POS systems and ticketing platforms, particularly in nightlife or hospitality settings.
- Solid understanding of Windows Server environments.
- Proven troubleshooting skills in fast-paced environments.
- Flexible schedule for evenings and weekends.
Salary Range: USD 95,000 – 105,000 per year (Compensation based on experience and skills)
