Systems Security Operations Engineer

The company is seeking a qualified Systems Security Operations Engineer to lead, deliver, implement, and maintain end-to-end system and security infrastructure solutions using both on-premises and cloud technologies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in systems security operations and will be responsible for designing and maintaining a strong security posture across all systems.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement security infrastructure solutions.
• Undertake project workloads while ensuring deliverables meet agreed time and cost constraints.
• Perform routine maintenance and failover tests to monitor systems continuously.
• Manage incident responses within established SLAs and maintain relevant documentation.
• Assist in the development and management of security budgets, aligning with IT risk management initiatives.
• Enforce security configurations, manage identity and privilege access controls, and conduct regular vulnerability assessments.

Qualifications & Skills Required:

Essential:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a relevant field.
• MCSE, MCSA 2019 certification.
• CCNA certification.
• MS Azure Administrator certification.
• Expert knowledge of Office 365.
• VMware VCP certification.
• Experience with Linux Redhat.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in System and Security operations.

Desirable:

• ITIL certification.
• Strong interpersonal skills: Can-Do/Will-Do attitude, commitment to achievement, quick learning, and ability to work with minimal supervision.
