Key Responsibilities:
- Testing and Commissioning of ITS Systems: Develop and execute detailed test plans, procedures, and schedules for ITS components, including hardware, software, and communication systems. Conduct functional, performance, and integration tests for various ITS solutions.
- System Integration and Validation: Verify the integration of ITS subsystems and perform end-to-end system validation to ensure seamless operation and data flow.
- Documentation and Reporting: Prepare and maintain comprehensive test reports, commissioning records, and as-built documentation. Document and track issues during the process.
- Collaboration and Stakeholder Coordination: Work with project managers, engineers, contractors, and clients to coordinate activities and provide regular updates.
- Compliance and Safety: Ensure all activities comply with safety regulations and ITS standards. Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation measures.
- Troubleshooting and Problem-Solving: Diagnose and resolve technical issues during testing and commissioning. Recommend corrective actions to address deficiencies.
- Training and Handover: Provide training and support to end-users and assist in the handover process.
Required Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Transportation Engineering, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in testing, commissioning, or integration of ITS systems or related technologies.
- Strong understanding of ITS technologies and communication protocols.
- Proficiency in testing tools and diagnostic equipment.
- Familiarity with ITS standards and guidelines.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Desired Skills:
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Communication skills in Arabic are preferred.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., ITS Professional Certification, ISTQB, or PMP) are a plus.
