Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain backend services and APIs for the company products.
- Enhance scalability, reliability, and developer experience across backend systems.
- Design and execute integrations with smart contract platforms and external services.
- Contribute to monitoring, incident response, and post-mortem activities.
- Optimize backend performance and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with product and infrastructure teams for reliable system delivery.
- Participate in code reviews and uphold engineering best practices.
- At a senior level, manage projects end-to-end, set technical directions, and mentor junior engineers.
Who You Are:
- Proven experience in building and managing backend systems in production.
- Strong proficiency in Golang, Typescript, or similar backend programming languages with a focus on performance.
- Understanding of system design principles, including reliability and maintainability.
- Familiarity with blockchain platforms and smart contracts.
- Experience in containerized services and modern deployment methods.
- Strong problem-solving skills capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment.
- At a senior level, you should have experience managing projects from inception to completion and influencing architectural decisions.
Nice to Haves:
- Background in multiple blockchain networks or non-EVM ecosystems.
- Familiarity with data indexing and observability tools.
- Experience in building high-performance systems and working in fintech or crypto.
- Exposure to distributed systems or low-latency infrastructure architectures.
