Team Leader - Prepress Design

About the Role
This position focuses on supervising the design team to enhance productivity, process effectiveness, and service levels, ensuring alignment with business objectives. The successful candidate will lead various design activities, manage the team's workflow, and implement strategies to optimize resource use and minimize errors.

Responsibilities

• Create designs, concepts, and sample layouts that meet clients' specifications.
• Assign duties to design staff to ensure all jobs are completed on time according to the Production schedule while improving productivity.
• Reduce waste on all consumables to minimize department operating overheads to acceptable limits.
• Minimize digital errors prior to plate output to reduce reworks to an acceptable minimum.
• Ensure that digital files for special operations (spot UV, foil blocks, die lines) are completed on time and forwarded to the production department to ensure on-time job delivery.
• Optimize the use of all resources, including digital printers, materials, and staff, to enhance output and productivity.
