Team Leader – SQA – Cards & Payments

About the Role
The QA domain leader drives testing quality across the entire payments ecosystem, including card issuance, domestic/international fund transfers, and physical terminal integrations.

Key Responsibilities

• Payments Ecosystem Testing: Direct the QA strategy for local and international payment gateways, ensuring strict compliance and zero defect leakage for SWIFT, UAEFTS, NPSS, and WPS.
• Card Lifecycle & Switch Integration: Manage end-to-end testing for credit/debit card processing systems (AFS-VisionPLUS, HPS-PowerCard) and digital payment architectures.
• Terminal & Hardware Validation: Govern hardware-software integration testing for the bank's physical touchpoints, including ATMs, CCDM, and MFK (Multi-Functional Kiosks).
• Scheme Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to testing mandates for regulatory schemes (Visa, Mastercard) and image clearing workflows (ECC, Remote Cheque Deposit).
• Core Skill Set: ISO 8583 and ISO 20022 messaging, Switch simulation tools, SWIFT/RTGS workflows, EMV mandates, and hardware/software terminal testing.
• Years of Experience: 8–10 years in Payments & Cards QA, with significant exposure to payment hubs and scheme compliance.
• Preferred Certifications: ISTQB Advanced Test Manager, SWIFT Certified Specialist, Payment Card Industry (PCI) compliance training.
