Tech Analyst

GSK is seeking a Tech Analyst for its manufacturing processes. The role will be site-based and involves providing technical analysis and development of solutions. Responsibilities include managing the deployment, testing, validation, performance, operations, and continuous support of all Technical, Engineering, and Manufacturing applications within the Manufacturing Excellence and Quality and Lab Product teams.

This position requires a balance of business process understanding and technical breadth, enabling the individual to operate flexibly and agilely to drive efficiency and improvements. The role also deals with complex geographies and user bases, requiring a mix of technology and business process understanding.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support for business systems, ensuring they operate effectively.
• Troubleshoot and resolve system issues to minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with teams to identify and implement system improvements.
• Manage system access, training, and user support.
• Ensure data accuracy and consistency across platforms.
• Monitor system performance and create reports to track key metrics.

Qualifications/Skills:

• Basic:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • At least 4 years of experience in a technical support or similar role.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Proficiency in tools like SharePoint or similar platforms.
  • Strong communication skills in English.

• Preferred:

  • Experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools like Power BI.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).
  • Experience with system integration and data management.
  • Certification in IT-related fields (e.g., ITIL, CompTIA).
