The successful candidate will oversee the end-to-end delivery of software initiatives, including emerging AI solutions, in a highly regulated banking environment, ensuring alignment with regulatory standards, PCI DSS compliance, and internal governance frameworks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the complete delivery of technical projects, including scope, timeline, budget, and quality across multiple workstreams.
- Run and improve Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, backlog refinement, stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives).
- Maintain program governance through RAID logs (risks, assumptions, issues, dependencies) and cross-team dependencies.
- Serve as the primary coordination point between the delivery team and client stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with regional central bank regulatory requirements and internal policies.
- Oversee testing phases (SIT, UAT, security/penetration) and manage reporting to senior leadership.
- Identify and resolve delivery blockers and process gaps before they affect timelines.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 9+ years of project/program management experience in financial services or banking.
- Proven experience managing Agile software development delivery (Scrum/Kanban/SAFe).
- Familiarity with banking regulatory frameworks and AI systems.
- Strong command of Agile governance disciplines.
- Excellent communication skills for translating technical topics to executive audiences.
- Experience with project tracking tools such as Jira or Confluence.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certifications: PMP, PRINCE2, PMI-ACP, CSM, or SAFe.
- Experience with technology programs within UAE/GCC banking institutions.
- Understanding of KYC/AML workflows and AI system requirements.
Language Requirements:
- Fluent in English; proficiency in Arabic is a plus.
