Technical Account Manager (EMEA ISV)

AWS Global Services includes experts from across AWS who help our customers design, build, operate, and secure their cloud environments. As a Technical Account Manager (TAM) in the AWS Enterprise Support ISV segment, you will help Independent Software Vendors maximize the value and benefits of AWS Services. TAMs actively engage with customers, providing recommendations and proactive advice throughout the entire cloud adoption life cycle. The TAM serves as the customer’s trusted advisor for operational excellence in leveraging AWS cloud technology.

In this role, you will craft and execute strategies with senior customer stakeholders, drive the adoption of AWS services, and address strategy-related queries, project planning, and operational challenges.

Key Responsibilities

• Guide, consult, and provide technical guidance while advocating for customers within AWS
• Ensure AWS environments remain operationally healthy and optimized in cost, complexity, security, performance, and resiliency
• Develop trusting relationships with customers to understand their business needs and technical challenges
• Conduct technical discussions regarding incidents, architectural trade-offs, and risk management
• Collaborate with AWS Solutions Architects, Business Developers, Professional Services Consultants, and Sales Account Managers
• Identify opportunities for customers to gain additional value from AWS
• Provide detailed reviews of service disruptions and support pre-launch planning

Basic Qualifications

• Experience with operational parameters and troubleshooting across compute, storage, networking, databases, DevOps, big data, analytics, security, or applications development in a distributed systems environment
• Experience in technical engineering

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with AWS services or other cloud offerings
• Experience in an enterprise or customer-facing environment as a technical lead
