The Role
As part of a pool of trusted advisors, you will have a direct impact in helping our On-Ramp customers derive maximum value from cloud technology. You will design and execute strategies to enhance the adoption and use of AWS services, including various products such as EC2, S3, DynamoDB, RDS databases, Lambda, CloudFront CDN, IoT, and more. Your role will involve partnering with notable businesses ranging from startups to large enterprises undergoing significant transformations, providing advice on architecture, support strategies, project planning, and operational issues.
Key Responsibilities
- Build solutions, provide technical guidance, and advocate for customers.
- Ensure AWS environments remain operationally healthy while reducing cost and complexity.
- Develop trusting relationships with customers to understand their business needs and technical challenges.
- Drive technical discussions regarding incidents, trade-offs, and risk management using your technical acumen and customer obsession.
- Consult with a range of partners from developers to C-suite executives.
- Collaborate with AWS Solutions Architects, Business Developers, Professional Services Consultants, and Sales Account Managers.
- Proactively identify opportunities for customers to gain additional value from AWS.
- Provide detailed reviews of service disruptions, metrics, and pre-launch planning.
- Solve a variety of problems as customers migrate their workloads to the cloud.
- Enhance customer capabilities by conducting workshops and informational sessions.

Basic Qualifications
- 2+ years of technical engineering experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience with operational parameters and troubleshooting in one of the following areas: compute, storage, networking, CDN, databases, DevOps, big data and analytics, security, or application development in a distributed systems environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with scripting languages and coding skills in one or more of the following: Ruby, C/C++/C#, Node.js, Java, Python, or PHP
- Experience in customer-facing business presentations covering both business and technical aspects
