As a part of our team, you will have a direct impact in helping our On-Ramp customers gain the most value from cloud technology. You’ll craft and execute strategies to enhance customer adoption and use of AWS services, including EC2, S3, DynamoDB, RDS databases, Lambda, CloudFront CDN, and IoT.

Our Technical Account Managers partner with various businesses, from startups to large enterprises, offering advice on architecture, support strategy, project planning, and ongoing operational issues.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build solutions, provide technical guidance, and advocate for the customer.
  • Ensure AWS environments are operationally healthy while reducing cost and complexity.
  • Develop trusting relationships with customers, understanding their business needs and technical challenges.
  • Drive technical discussions regarding incidents, trade-offs, and risk management.
  • Consult with various partners, from developers to C-suite executives.
  • Collaborate with AWS Solutions Architects, Business Developers, Professional Services Consultants, and Sales Account Managers.
  • Proactively find opportunities for customers to gain additional value from AWS.
  • Provide detailed reviews of service disruptions, metrics, and pre-launch planning.
  • Solve problems as customers migrate their workloads to the cloud.
  • Enhance customer capabilities through workshops and sessions.

Basic Qualifications

  • 2+ years of technical engineering experience.
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Experience with operational parameters and troubleshooting across computing, storage, networking, CDN, databases, DevOps, big data and analytics, security, or applications development in a distributed systems environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Scripting languages and coding skills in Ruby, C/C++/C#, Node.js, Java, Python, or PHP.
  • Experience in customer-facing business presentations covering both business and technical aspects.
