As a Technical Account Manager, you will be a trusted advisor and cloud operations architect for our Enterprise Support customers. This role involves partnering with iconic businesses, providing technical guidance, developing strategies for AWS service adoption, and advising on various product offerings including EC2, S3, and more. You will be responsible for ensuring operational health and reducing cost and complexity for AWS environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Advise on solutions, provide technical guidance, and advocate for customers
  • Develop trusting relationships with customers, understanding their business needs and technical challenges
  • Drive technical discussions regarding incidents, trade-offs, and risk management
  • Collaborate with AWS Solutions Architects, Business Developers, and other stakeholders
  • Proactively identify opportunities for customers to gain additional value from AWS
  • Conduct reviews of service events and metrics, and provide detailed pre-launch planning
  • Run workshops and training sessions to uplift customer capabilities

Basic Qualifications

  • Experience in a similar role (Technical Account Manager, Consultant, Solutions Architect, etc.)
  • Understanding of operational parameters and troubleshooting in areas such as Compute, Storage, Networking, and Security
  • Customer-facing experience with strong communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Professional experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
  • Programming or scripting skills (Java, Python, Perl, etc.)
  • Previous experience in software development or DevOps roles
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools (e.g., Continuous Integration/Deployment, Docker, Kubernetes)
